Hidden side of Mekong Delta: Local Village – Cajuput Forest – Homestay

Day 1: Hochiminh City (Saigon) - Cai Be Village, Tan Phong Island - Homestay in Vinh Long (Lunch)
- 7:45Am. Our tour guide will welcome you at your hotel in City Center and start your day by going to visit Mekong (Cai Be Village) is about 100 km around 2 hours.
- The program will start with the visit of Cai Be village with boat trip cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how they take honey from bee farm, coconut candy, pop-rice, and popcorn are made…
- A delicious lunch will be served under the shade of local orchards on an Island.
- After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.
- We will enjoy some kinds of fruits from local garden when listening music.
- Stop at one of oldest house on Tan Phong island. Enjoy dinner and overnight at homestay in An Binh village.

Day 2: Vinh Long - Xeo Quyt Cajuput Forest - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) (Lunch)
After breakfast, around 20 minutes driving on a small boat, you will see the fruited orchard island. You also have time for biking around the village. Then we continue to Dong Thap province (Sa Dec City) one of the hidden town in Mekong Delta.
We will basically do the following activities in Dong Thap province:
- Cajuput Forest Sampan Hand Rowing in Xeo Quyt Village: A secret part in Mekong Delta
- Ancient House
Back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) on the way back, stop at a charming garden for relaxing or a local temple (if time permit).
End tour at 5:30PM.
